FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What holds it to the ground?
A. Tie it to a 5lb-weighted object.
Q. How does the ball feel?
A. Like a common two piece golf ball.
Q. How far does it come back?
A. Half way if struck well.
Q. Can I use a driver?
A. No, the Rope It is for irons only.
Q. How much is shipping?
A. Free in the USA.
Q: Can the RopeIt be used indoors?
A: If you have the room, why not. You would need an area about 60 or 70 feet long with some fairly high ceilings.
Q: Is the RopeIt safe?
A: As long as you use it, and set it up according to the instructions, the RopeIt is very safe. The most common question we get is will it come back and hit me. The RopeIt has been specially calibrated, with two different types of rope, so that no matter how you hit it, it cannot come back and hit you.
Q: Is this a replacement for the driving range?
A: No. There is no substitute for seeing the complete ball flight. But we believe that the Ropeit is better than a net, easier to set up, and a lot cheaper. It is also much better than other limited area practice balls such as foam or plastic balls.
Q: Would accomplished golfers use the Rope It?
A: Absolutely. Say you’re watching the Golf channel, or just read a golf tip article. If you have a RopeIt; you can just pop out to your backyard and give the new tip a try. It is also great for the better golfer to practice drills, or to work on the latest suggestion from a lesson you may have just had from your PGA pro. It allows for hitting a real golf ball in your own backyard, and accomplished golfers love to hit golf balls.
